Consultant List for Attorneys
The consultants on this page are versed in Hague Convention proceedings in U.S. courts and on the issue of domestic violence. They have agreed to be listed here as possible consultants for attorneys seeking help in their cases.
If you are seeking legal representation, we advise you to contact the American Domestic Violence Hotline through their website or toll-free at 1-866-US-WOMEN (1-866-879-6636). The U.S. Department of State also provides resources for parents seeking representation in this country and elsewhere. Whenever you are selecting legal representation you should always conduct an independent assessment of the lawyer.
The Hague Domestic Violence Project also maintains a separate list of attorneys who have represented battered mothers in Hague Convention proceedings. If you are such an attorney and would like to be on our list for possible referrals, please send an email with your contact information to info@haguedv.org.
